Terms of Use
Effective November 2, 2026
- You must be of legal drinking age (21 in the United States).
- You own what you post. You let the site show it, and let other people view, rate, share and copy your recipes into their carts.
- Post only your own photos and words. No spam, hate, harassment or anything illegal.
- AI suggestions can be wrong. Check ingredients, allergies and strength yourself, and drink responsibly.
- We can remove posts or accounts that break these rules. Use Report or email us if you see a problem.
These terms apply to My Cocktail Cart at mycocktailcart.com (“the site”, “we”). By using the site you agree to them and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Who can use the site
You must be of legal drinking age where you live, and at least 21 in the United States. The site asks you to confirm this when you visit and when you create an account.
Your account
You sign in with a link sent to your email, so keep your email account secure. You're responsible for what's posted from your account. You can delete your account at any time from My cart.
What you post
You keep ownership of the recipes, photos, ratings, notes, comments and lists you post. By posting, you give us permission to store and show them on the site, and to let other people view, rate, share and copy them, including saving a copy of your recipe to their own cart. This permission ends when you delete your post or your account, except for copies other people have already made.
Only post things you have the right to share. Recipes are generally fine to share, but don't upload someone else's photos or copy their written text without permission.
Rules
Don't use the site to post or do anything that:
- is illegal, or encourages underage, drunk or dangerous drinking;
- harasses, threatens or demeans anyone, or is hateful, sexual or graphic;
- is spam, advertising or self-promotion that people didn't ask for;
- pretends to be someone else, or shares someone's personal information;
- uses someone else's photos or work without permission;
- interferes with the site, gets around its limits, scrapes it in bulk, or misuses its AI features.
Reports and removal
If you see something that breaks these rules, use the Report link next to it or email support@mycocktailcart.com. This includes something that uses your photo or work without permission. We may remove any post, and suspend or delete any account, that we believe breaks these terms, at our discretion and without notice.
AI features
Recipe scanning, drink ideas, swaps, mocktails, standard recipes and bottle descriptions are produced by AI. They can be inaccurate or incomplete, including ingredients, amounts and alcohol content. Check anything that matters to you, especially allergies. AI features have daily limits and may change or stop.
Drink responsibly
Recipes, batch sizes and alcohol percentages on the site are for general information and are approximate. You're responsible for what you make, serve and drink. Know your limits, check for allergens, never drink and drive, and never serve alcohol to anyone underage or visibly intoxicated.
The site is provided as is
The site is free and provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We may change, pause or stop any part of it at any time, and we don't guarantee it will always be available or that your content will never be lost. Keep your own copies of anything important.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for anything arising from recipes, AI results or content posted by other people. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that can't be waived.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll put a notice on the site. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
